Madman during snow week…

For those wondering, the show is still a go, and there are some interesting developments. We just did a neat show with Zebra Junction which was a fantastic time. We had 6 cams filming for an hour. I’m going to cut the show down and make some great video out of it.

The same formula will be used to produce short 2-3 minute pieces of Marijuana Radio. I’m really looking forward to MR because it’s such a distinguished format compared to BF.

As some of you know, we just had a huge snow storm this week. I was in Barefoot Radio recording the Mile High Sports Radio show when the snow started coming down very heavily.

So thinking I was wise, I decided to head home from work early that day, and perhaps it WAS wise. Heading north out of Denver was a supreme mess. In fact it made me fear an emergency that’s even more severe. It took me 2 Hours to get home. It normally takes 20 minutes. What if there were some crazy attack in the city? Weather pretty much paralyzed the state, so what would happen in the case of an an attack? Scary thought.

The snow was enough to get my 4X4 truck stuck in the driveway. Digging out was a nightmare.

This will be a nice weekend with the family. We’ll be at my Aunt’s house for dinner on Christmas Eve, and then eat with my parents on Christmas Day. I plan to drink wine. Have a good Holiday, everyone.

Misha will join us on Christmas Day.

Does anyone really read these notes? If so, please tell me because i’m contemplating not doing it. Let me know if it’s worth it. The feed basically has the same notes and I was thinking of setting up a page specialized to promote the bands better.

I’d like to know what you think. If you read these notes and you like them, let me know.

Yet again I’m emboldened at the potential of this ‘undiscovered’ phenomenon called Barefoot Radio. We had another stellar First Fridays. Abby from Barefoot Wine, this First Fridays sponsor came on the mic to promote the delicious product. Super thank you to that company for hooking us up with such a delicious treat. My wine expert Dad was on hand to offer up his opinion. Leah Mebane was tonight’s featured artist and what a lovely appearance it was. She put up with my ass ways like a super champ. She has a very interesting artistic style and I recommend others check her stuff out. I summoned some girl named Chelsea came to the mic and she seemed rather ’star struck’ during the moment.

“Jake Sharon and Zombie folks in the house of Barefoot…”

This was another podcast to write home about. We had a packed studio and welcomed local Comedian Jake Sharon into the studio. This guy was really fun to have on and I hope he’ll come back. I wondered if ‘my own’ style of comedy was too over the top for him……hmmmm….probably not!

Also in the studio was my friend Tim, maker of the short film No. My other Possessed Zombie Girlfriend. Enriching the mix was the cast from the film including XZanthia the Santa Fe Luminary, and Dave Posely. Please support indie film makers and buy the DVD!

The show wasn’t without personal revelations. Melany admitted to getting her breasts reduced. Sigh!!!!

There was a short and meaningful Bytchphest full of Bytching!!!!!

As a producer I’ve said before that I have lots of anxiety leading up to a show. This was sort of true today and all elements fell together properly, I think we had another special show for that exhibits well the intellectual and goofy appeal of Barefoot Radio.

K.B. from MarijuanaRadio.com sat in with myself, the Professor, and Daniel the intern, in this sausage fest of sausage fests. However there was the exception of two lovely ladies, Susan and Beth, demonstrating their unique dance method called ‘contact improvisation.’ I’ll update this with an email contact tomorrow.

After that really fun segment, Jeff Mackinnon, Standup comic and ‘CJ(CyberJockey)’ from ManiaTV.com called in for a great conversation.

This episode turned out to be one of those ’superior’ podcasts. I was my usual bigmouth self and the rest of the crew stood in poetic opposition.
Kieren from LunaticRadio.com came on the phone and detailed his final devirginizing after 8 years. It was a lively conversation and ‘Lunatics de Radio’ will surely get a loony fix. Joe Z. Fiend from MarijuanaRadio.com was on hand to liven up the mix.
